Did you know you are born as a pure mind?

Have you ever wondered why children are so happy? They are pure due to the unique connection they have with Universe / God.

It was also applicable to you when you were born.

You are connected to Universe / God and you have this incredible bond.

Then you meet your parents. They have their views, opinions and beliefs. Gradually, you start getting familiar with social rules, religions and other members of your community.

With time we lose this connection. We also lose our communication with our inner selves. As we grow we adapt to the environment because we want to be loved and accepted. Consequently, we – instead to listen to our internal dialog – we believe our parents, family, religion, TV, FB, boss… Everyone else’s opinion becomes more significant than ours.  You know exactly what I mean.

When have you made a decision without asking anyone else for opinion?

Did you know our subconscious mind holds information from the time before we were conceived and very often memories from that period are our core values system? This topic is very complexed and includes many aspects, for example psycho-genealogy… Please, feel free to look into it, it is very interesting.

The point is if you want to start making effective and meaningful decisions you have to find the connection with Universe. Otherwise you will be fed with fear, hate other negative emotions.

  • Switch off TV if you do not watch it intentionally. Moving forward why do not get rid of TV for good? What values does watching TV really give you?
  • Select your friends very wisely. Are they motivating, loving and caring or just opposite? Remember, you carry their emotions and resonate with them.
  • Have courage to say NO to people who have bad influence on you. Very often, actually more often than you can imagine, people get popular because they do things against what they feel inside. That feeling when something screams inside of you “Stop!” or ask you questions, “Do you really want it?” “Are you sure?!” What do you do when you hear them?
  • Start surrounding yourself with uplifting music. It has been proven that frequencies create different images – depending on type of sounds. Order of molecules changes when you listen different types of music; when you listen to classical music the image is harmonious. On the other hand, full of hate or violence music lowers vibrations massively and the image is distracted due to the fact the molecules are in chaos.
  • Find 10 minutes – preferably in the morning or just before you go sleep – just for yourself. Switch of your mobile phone. Sit in a comfortable place and write down three things that you are grateful for.  Write three things you would like to achieve within next 12 months. The more details you include, the better. Do it on a regular basis so it becomes your habit. The magic is going to start happening then. Watch this space.
  • Eat the food from genuine source. Was it grown in ethical way? Where was it grown? Were the children (or any other forms of slavery) involved? Are you grateful for it?
  • Start feeding your body with nutritious food instead of worthless junk that is almost giving out for free so our bodies deteriorate. Do you eat in rush? Do you eat random stuff? Do you respect your body?
  • Start treating yourself with respect. This is your life and you are the most important person here. Be your own angel, your own guard. Do not let anyone hurt you… If you will not do it, other people might use it against you… Concentrate on who you really want to be. Respect your mind and body: go for walks, eat with your full attention…  treat yourself like if you were your best friend.

Overwhelming sound of happy children surround you from everywhere competing with birds’ singing. The trees are swaying gently with the spring breeze. You feel so calm…

You can make a decision between applying a standard, usually antihistamine medical treatment that masks the symptoms and do not treat the real cause of the dilemma.

The symptoms of Hay Fever, especially itchiness of the eye intensifies around the time of pollination of grass and trees.

Anna Ciesielska, my mentor, claims this is a pure coincidence, as pollen and sunlight have not appeared in modern times – opposite to the illness I am writing about.

“They have always been here, and it is only our bodies that different now.” She believes Hy Fever is related to the fact our bodies are destroyed and deregulated.

What are the real causes of it then?
·        The excess of sour (chicken, pasta, milk, tropical fruit, cucumbers, tomatoes, apples, ice cream)
·        The excess of salty (cold water, pofk, salt, soya)
·        Lack of excercise
·        Cold food and drinks
·        Too much of fresh vegetable and fruit
·        Mental long term fatigue
·        Increased consumption of ice cream
·        Overcooling the body by wearing not enough layers of clothes when the weather is far from warm

What about A Broth For Vegetarians according to 5Flavours of Health?

If you are following a vegetarian or vegan diet, you can make a vegetable broth. Especially if you have a compromised digestive system, they can be key to recovery as they are so easy for the body to break down.

You can make a vegetable broth by taking veggie scraps or whole vegetables and covering them in water, then simmering for 6-8 hours. Remember to use seasonal and local vegetables and all 5 Flavours spices.  You will then discard the vegetables because all of their nutrients are now in the soup broth.

The Psychology of the Perfect Diet

Here’s the thing:

So many people who have an interest in nutrition and health make the fascinating assumption that there must be a perfect diet. Meaning, the perfect way to eat, the perfect nutritional system, the one way of consuming food that trumps all other approaches. As this thinking goes, all we need to do is discover this one perfect diet and we hit the sweet spot so to speak. By finding the perfect diet, we can have perfect health, perfect weight, perfect energy, perfect looks, and live approximately forever.

Who wouldn’t want to find the perfect diet?

Now this may sound like a bit of an exaggeration, and I’m being slightly tongue-in-cheek here – but the reality is, I meet far too many people, including the experts, who come from this essential place. There has to be one perfect diet.

Believing that there is a one size fits all perfect diet has some important consequences that we should take note of:

  • It often has us on an endless search
    • We’re constantly on edge trying to find the perfect foods
    • We can become confused and frustrated because so many experts claim that they have the perfect way to eat and they all have scientific proof and many of them say something quite different
    • We might believe we found the perfect diet, and stick to it for a while – only to watch ourselves falling off the wagon, eating foods outside of the diet, craving forbidden foods, which then leads to a lot of self rejection and personal turmoil.

This last point I believe is an important one.

That’s because there’s so much nutritional confusion and personal frustration that happens when we’re trying to follow our perfect diet perfectly – and the reality is – perfection doesn’t exist.

Name me one place in life where we can all be in agreement about what’s perfect.

Is there a perfect way to earn money?
Is there a perfect way to do relationship?
Is there a perfect way to raise children?
Is there a perfect way to have fun?
Is there a perfect way to move and exercise?
Is there a perfect way to have sex?
Is there a perfect house?
Or a perfect place to live?

I think you get the point.

But in case you don’t, let me spell it out in nutritional and scientific terms:

There is absolutely no such thing as the perfect diet.

There are likely as many excellent ways to eat as there are people on planet Earth.

The right diet for any one of us is linked to so many different factors:

I’m talking about your age, genetics, preferences, your sex, the environment you live in, this season, your lifestyle, the amount of exercise you do, any health challenges you might be dealing with, your personal goals, your personal beliefs, and all kinds of yet-to-be-discovered factors.

But don’t let this frustrate you please.

Nutrition is an ongoing journey. It’s an exploration. It’s a fascinating experiment. We live in a time when the body is changing, our nutritional needs are quite different than they were 1000 years ago, the world is a different place, we’re under a lot of environmental pressure from toxins in a poor food chain – so our nutritional needs are ever-changing and ever-evolving. That’s the good news.

When you finally let go of trying to find the perfect diet, you can relax.
You can be an explorer.
You can have a smile on your face and test out new approaches, new foods, new supplements, or the latest diet – and see how it works for you.

Body wisdom here is the final frontier.
Yes, you’re going to use your knowledge, you’re going to use what you’ve learned, you can listen to the experts, and at the end of the day each one of us ultimately makes the choice about what we consume.

You can see this journey as problematic and disappointing, or you could see it as something fascinating and exciting.

Your choice.
The desire for perfection in any area of life is a form of simplistic wishful thinking. It’s a way of approaching the world that calls for more maturity and experience. Perfectionism is a dream that we need to wake up from. The alternative is to continue sleepwalking and not understand why we’re constantly feeling off-balance, disempowered, uncertain, and always looking for answers about why our health or our eating habits aren’t perfect.

The field of nutrition is a bit messy.
It’s in a lot of flux.
Our lives are in a lot of flux.

These are the times we live in.

Let’s embrace that and do our best to celebrate it.

Basics!


Simple methods which work & you can apply in your home

  • Start your day with boiled coffee with cinnamon and ginger and honey
  • 15 min after your coffee Have porridge for breakfast ( for gluten sensitive people – use quinoa flakes) ,
  • Never have for your breakfast – raw fruits,  milk (warm or cold), raw salads, juices, any sugary biscuits
  • Lunch – homemade and balanced with 5 flavours soups, goulash with rice, cous cous or sth else of your liking but warm and cooked.
  • Afternoon coffee or tea
  • Homemade dinner.
  1. Do not bring home food product which are not good for you (fizzy drinks, sweets, excess of fruits…..)
  2. Plan your meals at least 1 day ahead
  3. Get yourself organised in the kitchen: cook soup for 2days (if you are working mother),
  4. Get better at your shopping. Plan in advance your list so you do not waste time looking for products.
  5. Plan the pack lunches for the kids. Just a few suggestions:
  • Minced meat (veal, beef, lamb…) with vegetables + pasta
  • Roasted potatoes with nibbles
  • Sandwich with bread or pita bread with cooked and mashed meat and veg
  • Cous –cous with chick peas
  • Rice with vegetables
  1. Cooked your meals on gas cooker.
  2. Always balance the food with 5 flavours: sweet, spicy, salty, sour and bitter

The order you put the spices in very important.

  1. Learn about nature of the food products and flavours of your spices: ie.

Sweet – cumin, olive oil, cinnamon, millet, corn, beef

Spicy – ground coriander, chilly, cloves, ginger, garlic, onion, barley

Salty – salt, cold water, beans, fish

Sour – tomatoes, lemon, basil, all green leaves including parley, chicken

Bitter – turmeric, marjoram, boiled water, lamb

Take back your power.

Eliminate junk food, artificial sweeteners, fizzy drinks and juices, dairy products, chicken… for anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks … and you will start feeling the difference.

The Spiritual Approach to Change

Just think of a few now. There is the spiritual approach, there is the mental approach, and there is the physical approach. Holistic healing includes body, mind, and spirit. You can begin in any one of these areas as long as you eventually include all the areas. Some begin with the mental approach and do workshops or therapy. Some begin in the spiritual area with meditation or prayer.

When you begin to clean your house, it really doesn’t matter which room you start in. Just begin in the area that appeals to you most. The others will happen almost by themselves.

The Importance Of Nutrition

Junk food eaters who begin on the spiritual level often find that they are drawn to nutrition. They meet a friend or find a book or go to a class that brings them to an understanding that what they put into their bodies will have a lot to do with how they feel and look. One level will always lead to another as long as there is the willingness to grow and change.

I give very little nutritional advice because I have discovered that all systems work for some people. I do have a local network of good practitioners in the holistic field, and I refer clients to them when I see the necessity for nutritional knowledge. This is an area where you must find your own way or go to a specialist who can test you.

Many of the books on nutrition have been written by persons who were very ill and worked out a system for their own healing. Then they wrote a book to tell everyone else the methods they used. However, everyone is not alike.

For instance, the macrobiotic and the natural raw food diets are two totally different approaches. The raw food people never cook anything, seldom eat bread or grains, and are very careful not to eat fruits and vegetables at the same meal. And they never use salt. The macrobiotic people cook almost all of their food, have a different system of food combining, and use a lot of salt. Both systems work. Both systems have healed bodies. But neither system is good for everybody’s body.

If it doesn’t grow, don’t eat it

My personal nutritional approach is simple. If it grows, eat it. If it doesn’t grow, don’t eat it.

Be conscious of your eating. It’s like paying attention to our thoughts. We also can learn to pay attention to our bodies and the signals we get when we eat in different ways.

Cleaning the mental house after a lifetime of indulging in negative mental thoughts is a bit like going on a good nutritional program after a lifetime of indulging in junk foods. They both can often create healing challenges. As you begin to change your physical diet, the body begins to throw off the accumulation of toxic residue, and as this happens, you can feel rather rotten for a day or two. So it is when you make a decision to change the mental thought patterns – your circumstances can begin to seem worse for a while.

Recall for a moment the end of a Thanksgiving dinner. The food is eaten, and it’s time to clean the turkey pan. The pan is all burnt and crusty, so you put in hot water and soap and let it soak for a while. Then you begin to scrape the pan. Now you really have a mess; it looks worse than ever. But, if you just keep scrubbing away, soon you will have a pan as good as new.

It’s the same thing with cleaning up a dried-on crusty mental pattern. When we soak it with new ideas, all the gook comes to the surface to look at. Just keep doing the new affirmations, and soon you will have totally cleared an old limitation.

Ecology – Living in Harmony

When people live in harmony with the elements and the Earth, they are on the way to Tao. But once they attempt to go against the elements, they are in a losing position. The elements can be tamed but not destroyed, calmed but not eliminated. They can bring terrible devastation. Therefore, do not fight against them once they are active, otherwise you must be aware of the consequences. And in order to avoid these consequences you have to activate your imagination, intuition, logic, wisdom. You have to think and become responsible for your choices.

Can we endlessly play with Nature and tease the elements without suffering any consequences? I do not think so. For example, the destruction of wild forests and a total disrespect towards the element of Wood leads to an imbalance within Nature and a disturbance of changes. The creative cycle gets blocked and the destructive cycle activated. Using up oil reserves and forests, chaotic and excessive exploitation of raw materials, excessive exploitation of rural areas (without giving the soil the time to rest), application of all kinds of chemical substances in agriculture, absolutely reprehensible treatment of farm animals, pollution of the environment, inappropriate usage of water resources, nuclear experimentation, using chemical and biological weapons – are all of these things the ideas of a conscious and responsible people? I do not think that we are fully aware that the Earth is a living and feeling creature.

We are trying to trick our conscience by saying that this devastation of Nature is a necessary sacrifice for the sake of technological progress. On the other hand, we join all kinds of pro-ecological organizations. But we do so merely to deafen our compunction. What use is it to parade with this very fashionable slogan of “ecology” if we do not respect the Order? Do we actually understand what “ecology” means? In the dictionary, “ecology” is described as a field of science concerned with research on the interdependences between living organisms and the environment. This interdependence is very obvious here – we use our power and intellect to ruthlessly destroy Nature, which in fact is the source of our existence. So, how can we talk here about wisdom and a self-preservation instinct?

Why is it so hard to understand that we should respect the piece of land we live on? Nobody will really understand the need for taking care of the environment, Nature and Earth if they do not respect their own body and the processes within it.
And here we come across the main priority: to raise our children and youth with a new kind of consciousness. Make them understand the true wisdom of life and not only what is written in books.

If we do not teach our children about the relationship between the cycles and changes within our body and the cycles and changes within Nature, if they do not understand that they can decide on the way they look and feel, on their inner peace and harmony, then they will never reach maturity and will not be able to be fully satisfied in life. Their respect and understanding of Nature will not go beyond the frames of the word “ecology”.
